Personal Description:

I can help students with a number of valuable writing and reading skills. My experiences preparing for the LSAT and as a practicing lawyer give me lots of insight into what makes for effective writing, which is invaluable as an English tutor. I can work on the material that is most relevant to the student's goals and lead sessions that progress at a good pace for their needs.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in English and Political Science and went on to obtain a Ph.D. in Law. I graduated Magna Laude and in the top ten percent of my class. I have been tutoring students since I was in high school, and I have continued to tutor to the present day.

Tutoring Approach:

One of the skills I believe I am best at teaching is critical reading. As an English tutor, I work to give students strong analytical skills that they can apply to a number of situations.
