Personal Description:

Hello, my name is Jake and I am offering remote tutoring services for university and high school mathematics courses. When I'm not tutoring math, I enjoy spending time being active outdoors, improving my chess skills, and exploring my passion for languages while travelling. I am fluent in Spanish and am currently learning Portuguese.

Tutoring Experience:

I have four years of experience tutoring students of many ages in various courses at the university and high school levels.

Tutoring Approach:

I take a individualist approach to tutoring, recognizing that each student learns in a unique way. I practise patience, and am always prepared to explain concepts in a variety of ways, in order to ensure that each student is provided with the resources necessary to succeed. I conduct my sessions over Zoom, utilizing functions such as the whiteboard feature as well as screen sharing to graphing applications. I look forward to working with you!
