Personal Description:

I am a math tutor and enjoy the process of helping others learn. I am intrigued by math and the rules applied to lead to one solution to a problem. Admiring its beauty and complexity, I also understand the importance in being patient and creative to help students see the beauty in it as well.

Tutoring Experience:

Scoring a 32 on the ACT Math test, I can tutor in pre-algebra, algebra, calculus, and college algebra as well as help with prep for the ACT Math, GRE Subject Test in Mathematics, and SAT Subject Test in Mathematics Level 1. In May 2015, I earned my undergraduate degree. I moved on to attend a private school for mathematics as part of an Aerospace Science and Technology Scholars program.

Tutoring Approach:

I branch away from solutions discussed in class and instead approach math problems with a greater sense of logic. Learning as much as I can about the student helps me find a way to build their enthusiasm for the subject. I'll apply math problems to areas they relate to, since the applications are limitless.
