Personal Description:

Hi there, I am a musician and video editor with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto (graduated with high distinction).

I love creating things, and my creativity is buttressed by a constant curiosity/thirst for knowledge and experiences. I also enjoy challenging myself physically - I started learning ballet at the age of 24.

My degree and my experience working in the arts have taught me the effectiveness of learning through doing, and this is something I really enjoy facilitating for others.

Tutoring Experience:

I was a peer tutor in high school and continued with some private tutoring while in university.

Tutoring Approach:

As an independent learner myself, I like to encourage creative thinking, active learning, and confidence in my students. I am a strong believer in applied learning and I like to find ways to make information personally relevant/interesting. I also believe consistency and practice are the most powerful tools in acquiring and maintaining a skill set. I'm great at identifying and responding to different styles of learning so that a comfortable pace can be established.
