Personal Description:

My name is Ishika . I am in my third year of university studying Nursing, BScN. I am also a retailer in a huge company. I love to write songs and books. When I first came to Canada, I was an ESL student. I spent one and a half years studying ESL. Through my experiences, I can help people to improve their language skills. I am also extremely interested in science as well. I have learned courses in science that are related to medicine such as Anatomy, Ethics, Psychology and much more. I have experience working in different hospitals as a student nurse and also as a PSW in a long term care setting.

Tutoring Experience:

I have tutored grades 4 to 7 before for one year. I have volunteered with kids as well as high school students with ESL. Also, I have taught science for about 2 years in high school to the younger grades.

Tutoring Approach:

I would use the online approach. This allows the students to ask questions and learn simultaneously as it will be face to face sessions. I will use videos, games, descriptions and extra notes to help them study.
