Personal Description:

I am a biology tutor who is currently in my third year of medical school. As someone who once struggled academically, I am a firm believer in providing a nonjudgmental environment for students. I want to help students develop a passion for learning and encourage them to become independent learners.

Tutoring Experience:

I received my undergraduate degree and I am now working towards becoming a medical doctor. I am experienced as a tutor for both high school and college-level biology classes. Additionally, I have tutored students taking classes in both anatomy and physiology.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to being an effective biology tutor is encouraging students to become independent critical thinkers via personalized lesson plans. I believe a great way to build a student's confidence is through the use of positive reinforcement. Whether verbally or written, having a student outwardly express their knowledge on a subject can show them how much they have improved.
