Personal Description:
I have extensive academic experience with strong grades:
A current 3rd year undergraduate student at McMaster University in the Arts and Science Program. with a 3.9+ GPA.
In Highschool, I've taken the IB program - HL Chemistry, HL Biology, and HL English.
Tutoring Experience:
Relevant experience: tutoring family members on basic subjects ( Chemistry, Biology, and English) and extensive experience in editing essays.
Overall, strong communication skills - ( i.e. conducting interviews over zoom) so I'm well versed in online teaching
Tutoring Approach:
I believe the student/parents tell me their needs first ( explaining a concept? Skill development for a subject?) so we can develop learning goals together.
In my experience I'm able to teach best if the student tells me 24 hours before the class what they wish to learn/need help in so I can prepare.
