I am an Engineering graduate who works as a consultant in the energy industry. I have years of experience in one-to-one and group tutoring in high school and university students.

Tutoring Experience:

Besides my private tutoring services, I have worked for the University of Ontario Institute of Technology in the following positions:

1. Supplemental Instruction (PASS) Leader

As a PASS leader, I developed lesson plans to conduct supplemental sessions according to the course schedule for Univerity level mathematics (including calculus II, differential equations, statistics, and probability) and other engineering courses. I also coordinated various individual and group activities using various techniques and strategies that encouraged independent learning and collaboration with peers, which has resulted in improvement of concept retention and critical thinking to participating students.

2. Peer Tutor

As a Peer Tutor, I conducted one-to-one tutoring sessions to help students understand challenging course concepts related to Mathematics, Physics, Programming, and Engineering. I also supervised physics space, where I offered personalized support to individuals in need of extra assistance. In addition, I worked one-to-one with students advising and assisting them with time management and effective study & exam skills.

Tutoring Approach:

My teaching focuses on assessing the students' understanding of course material and tailoring the session to fit their interest and understanding level best. My strategies focus on student engagement and course material retention.
