Personal Description:
I received my Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree from Queen’s University at Kingston in 1997, a Master of Arts Degree in 1999, and successfully completed the comprehensive examination for a Ph.D. in 2003. Prior to joining the faculty of Dankook University in Korea in 2005, I taught English composition and rhetoric at Queen’s University School of English at Kingston and Seoul Women’s University.
From March 2005 until December 2016, I taught English Composition and Rhetoric in the Department of English Language and Literature, the Department of British and American Humanities, the Graduate School of TESOL, and the Graduate School of English Education. In addition to my duties at Dankook University, from 2014 to 2016 I was an adjunct Professor of English at the Korean Institute of Justice. Currently, I am working as an instructor in the English for Academic Purposes Program at Queen’s School of English.
