Personal Description:

I believe that any learning obstacle can be overcome. While I am primarily a math tutor, I also offer guidance in other fields, such as pre-algebra, IB Mathematics, and test prep. I can help students as they review concepts or practice test-taking strategies for exams like ACT Math. I bring warmth and passion to every study session. I enjoy seeing my students succeed and grow.

Tutoring Experience:

I majored in mathematics and graduated in 2008 with a certification for high school math. I then earned my master's degree in education. I have experience as a teacher and tutor for charter schools, private schools, and several tutoring companies. In all, I have seven years of teaching experience and two as a professional tutor.

Tutoring Approach:

Teaching is a great privilege that can have a positive impact on student's lives. I strive to impart knowledge and concepts. I work to get to know students 1-on-1 to get to know their goals, struggles, and expectations to design a learning plan that can keep them on track.
