Personal Description:

Hi there! My name is Hope, and I am passionate about both learning and teaching! My goal is to help each student I work with to not only develop a better understanding of their subject but also to develop a love and appreciation for it!

I have been playing piano for seventeen years, and it has become one of my greatest joys. Besides playing piano, I also enjoy arranging music, playing the cello, and conducting!

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching private piano lessons for around seven years. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Piano Performance and am currently pursuing a Master's in Music Education. I offer tutoring for piano, private piano lessons, music theory, and music history.

Tutoring Approach:

The approach I take is tailored to the different learning styles, needs, and abilities of each student. Through incorporating a variety of learning methods, I aim to tutor in such a way that the material is learned thoroughly and the student develops a comprehensive understanding of the topic.

My goal is to inspire confidence in a student's ability to tackle any area of difficulty. I am confident that with this support outside of teh classroom, a student will have a more successful learning outcome.
