Personal Description:

Hi there, my name is Homayoun (Ali) and I am currently finishing my graduate degree in Legal Philosophy at McMaster University. I am interested in law/politics, philosophy and freelance writing. I am 25 years old and would love to help tutor people who are in need of extra help, as I was also tutored throughout highschool.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been a Teaching Assistant at McMaster University for 3 years, teaching small classes, grading and providing extra help. Alongside, I have also been private tutoring students for 1 year, in regards to essay writing, essay approach and writing styles in general.

Tutoring Approach:

I think its important to make sure the student understand the approach the tutor takes and the reasoning behind this, rather than strictly telling someone what to do. The best way a tutor can help someone is to transfer the skills they have learned to those who require it.
