Personal Description:
I am a passionate undergraduate from the University of Waterloo, ON with knowledge to share. Part of the reason I had decided to go on to post secondary education is because of the gaps in information that is not taught at younger levels of schooling. I am also passionate in helping people to succeed if the information taught just wasn't explained in the ways that some people need in order to absorb it.
Tutoring Experience:
Through my schooling, from a young age, I have been helping my peers to succeed, educating people on pressing environmental issues and impacts as well as creating a new community group (representing minorities, ie. First Nations People's) at my hometown high school. In this group I organized information, attended events and spread knowledge through speaking with youths in the community. As well, I have had training within Forests Ontario in various subjects relating to the environment and use of practical instruments in the field.
Tutoring Approach:
No student should have to feel that they are being left out or are "not good enough" for school. I believe that if there is a drive and a will to succeed, that anyone is capable of anything.
I am determined to help each individual until they are confident in their own skills and abilities to do it themselves. Learning shouldn't be a burden… it should be fun!
