Personal Description:

I have a passion for teaching and tutoring those who are open to learning. I am born and raised in Canada, I can speak three languages, English, Mandarin and Cantonese. I have worked in the Banking Industry for 12 years and have a strong understanding of business, economics, computers and english as I consistently use all these skills to be the best Financial Advisor that my client meet.

Tutoring Experience:

I have 2 years of ESL teaching as I took on a foreign student and walked him through the basics of the English language and got him ready for the ESL exam. I have been a manager since I was 16 years old and was teaching new staff how to work at McDonalds, I followed that up with being a Manager at Safeway and teaching adults the basics of grocery. I have since then it has been 12 rewarding years in Banking and I regularly teach financial concepts like budgeting, investing, loans, and economic theory.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tuturing is to listen first to the needs of my student, to find where the student could build their understanding in that area. I have met people of all ages and ethnicities in my life and I always find a way to explain hard to understand concepts that my student can understand. I am always looking to past on my knowledge to my students in a fun and engaging way.
