Personal Description:

I really enjoy tutoring because it allows me to connect with other people and pass on the knowledge that I have learned to them. Educating other people and making a positive impact on them is something that really makes me happy. If I can teach someone something, or better yet, inspire them to find joy in their studies, then I feel like I have really accomplished something.

Tutoring Experience:

Professionally, I have worked in the field of information technology and geophysics, so I do have a solid background in mathematics as well as technology and computer science, and I am happy to draw upon my experience in the field when it comes to tutoring others. I am a math tutor, and as such can tutor Calculus 1, 2, and 3, and algebra.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to begin by analyzing where my student is at in terms of their present knowledge and if there are any glaring gaps in that knowledge that need to be addressed. Then, once I have determined what their level is, I can tailor my lessons to help them build a solid foundation of understanding in the subject that I am tutoring them.
