Hello! I'm Hannah, and here's a little bit about me:

I am a recent graduate from the University of British Columbia in Canada, where I graduated with distinction with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. My scientific interests started in high school, and alongside these, I have always enjoyed creative pursuits such as painting and music. I believe that combining these two worlds—science and art—helps me bring an engaging and unique perspective to tutoring.

I'm fluent in Canadian French, having completed the French Immersion Canadian School program and earned a Double Dogwood Degree. For the past 8 years, I've had the joy of working with children at various developmental stages and have been tutoring within my community for the last 3 years. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and creating a supportive learning environment.

Growing up, I had to work hard for my grades, and I understand how a little help and a boost in confidence can make a world of difference and foster a love for learning. I believe that with the right guidance and encouragement, every student can thrive.

3 years of Peer Tutoring (university level) through the University of British Columbia.

2 years of Tutoring students ranging in ages 6-14.

My approach to tutoring is all about personalized, dynamic, and confidence-building learning experiences. I tailor my teaching methods to each student's unique needs, making sessions interactive and walking hand-in-hand with students through problems and concepts. Learning how to learn or study is a skill that I also integrate into my approach, focusing on the whole student experience rather than just a single question.
