Personal Description:
I'm currently part of a research team studying Alzheimer's Disease. What makes me a great biology tutor is that I have taken advantage of tutoring in the past. I understand what the student feels like and can empathize with them. This helps me be patient and dedicated to each student's success.
Tutoring Experience:
I earned my bachelor's degree in Genetics And I have also taken gradua**Contact Detail Removed**vel courses in anatomy, biochemistry, human genetics, and physiology. I'm available to tutor students in any of the life sciences. I can tutor students in the summer months as well as during the school year.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe tutoring requires two main ingredients: patience and perseverance. I think patience is required to learn new things, and perseverance will take students far in life. Therefore, I tend to encourage these qualities in each of the students I tutor. I help students set out realistic short- and long-term learning goals and set my expectations for how they will reach them right at the start.
