Personal Description:

First year student currently pursuing a Bachelors in Data science with an Arabic minor at Wilfrid Laurier University. Seeking to further cultivate my leadership skills and gain experience in leadership and student communication by working with students to promote online learning. I am willing to travel within Chatham- Kent, ON.

Tutoring Experience:

I have enjoyed tutoring students ages 4-14, for over four years. I continue to tutor today and am willing to negotiate regarding the price range. In the past I have taught core academic subjects in a group setting as well as one-to-one. I have experience in creating lessons, assignments, and quizzes according to a students level and age. I have created and proctored exams in both online and in-person exam sessions.

Tutoring Approach:

For online tutoring sessions, I use zoom meetings and online Google whiteboards. I also have access to online textbooks that can be used for Math and Science tutoring. I hope to make the online tutoring session as engaging to the student(s) as possible. New students will be given a Pre-Test in the subject they will be tutored in to test their prior knowledge of the subject matter. During zoom sessions, students can expect to be asked conceptual questions in order to asses their understanding of the content being taught. Students will also be given weekly quizzes to evaluate their weekly progress.
