Personal Description:

I have been teaching ever since 2005. Since that time, I have spent time in Panama and Colombia and have taught Spanish and English as a second language. Thanks to my experiences, I can impart my knowledge of the language and culture of these cultures as a Spanish tutor.

Tutoring Experience:

I graduated from business school with a Bachelor of Business Administration. I completed the SIT TESOL course and worked as a high school teacher. From there, I taught Business English to professionals. I recently completed a course in teaching Spanish as a second language.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that a tutor should be positive and patient with students. I know that learning a second language can be frustrating and challenging, so I like to give students plenty of time to complete their work and respond during tutoring sessions. I try to keep my lessons demanding but not overwhelming to keep students moving forward effectively.
