Personal Description:

I am a researcher and teacher with a lot of experience working with children and youth. I am presently finishing an advanced degree in Jewish Studies, following getting a degree in CEGEP in English Literature. I am an expert in English language and literature, and am fluent in French.

Tutoring Experience:

My experience includes tutoring middle school students in English and French, working to develop educational programs in summer camps, babysitting and helping with homework, giving guitar lessons, as well as volunteering at organizations which help students with particular needs.I also recently worked at a library where I developed educational programming for children.

Tutoring Approach:

I find it important to develop a good rapport with my students. I am a "people person," and try to hone in on cues as to what someone's style of learning is, as well as to tune in to their style of communication, what they find easy and what they find more difficult, et cetera.
