Personal Description:

My experience as an economics tutor allows me to bring a wealth of knowledge to the table for the students I work with. Throughout my study sessions, I encourage students to ask questions when they come up to prevent misunderstandings about opportunity costs or comparative advantage. I work hard to understanding different thought processes to find the best approach for my student.

Tutoring Experience:

While I was working towards my degree, I participated in a work-study program. Through the program, I lead underclassmen in Business and Economics courses. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Economics. I have spent time working with volunteer organizations in the fight against poverty.

Tutoring Approach:

When I work with a student 1-on-1, I can patiently assist them as they work through problems. I strive to keep the learning environment as relaxed and fun as possible. I believe it's important to get to know students as an individual, such as their background, the concepts they are struggling with, and more.
