Hi there,

Irishman living in Canada. I have a Bachelors in Electronic Engineering, a research-based M.Eng.Sci in **Contact Detail Removed**communications from National University of Ireland and an MBA from Hult in London & Shanghai.

I was an **Contact Detail Removed**communications Engineer for 10 years and now work in product and business development.

Tutoring Experience:

Throughout university and beyond I thought maths and physics extensively in university, as a private tutor and pro-bono for economically challenged students.

Tutoring Approach:

I think bright kids sometimes struggle with the way maths and physics are taught. The link to reality is often forgotten: the why. I am the son of two teachers so feel it's in my blood. I try to understand where the weakness or the block in a student's mind is before I tackle actual syllabus work or sample problems.

I believe in giving confidence to students in the first instance and then structure their learning to breakdown areas of challenge.

I'll admit its been a while since I taught but my high school students in Ireland all boosted their results.

I'm 100% behind a solid and rigorous approach to exams also. You go in with a plan and a timetable and you stick to it. This is one of my greatest strengths.
