Personal Description:
I am a passionate teacher with eight years of teaching experience. I have an undergraduate degree in ‘Journalism’ and a Masters degree in ‘War Studies.’ My certifications include Level 3 in Psychotherapy and TEFL. I love what I do and am also training to be a counsellor/therapist to further aid my tutoring skills
Tutoring Experience:
I have experience as a school, university and adult tutor. I am currently working in Toronto at different organizations. I am an ESL tutor for immigrants and refugees at Salvation Army. I tutor school students Early Learning Foundations. I also facilitate ESL conversations for Learning Disabilities Toronto. My volunteer work includes helping ‘at risk’ students in Toronto.
Tutoring Approach:
I feel each learner brings their unique experience to the class. As a teacher it is our job to harness this individuality to harness learning.
