Personal Description:

I am a dedicated chemistry tutor with a variety of experiences to draw upon when working with students. I focus on helping students to become their own instructors by teaching them skills such as how to find reputable resources. I feel that if I can succeed in making a student into an independent, high-achieving learner, then I have done my job!

Tutoring Experience:

I began tutoring my fellow high school students in science and math over eight years ago. I continued tutoring while attending college, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Chemistry. My score on the MCAT Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems is 129.

Tutoring Approach:

I cater my sessions to the needs of each unique student with whom I work. Teaching to their strengths is an effective way to communicate. I think that the best way to attack a problem is to find its root and move forward from there.
