Personal Description:

My name is Faris, and I am a recent graduate from McMaster University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. I have always had a passion for mathematics and sharing my knowledge and passion with others to make a positive difference. I am both patient and friendly; as a tutor I will continue to teach and support students with their math problems.

Tutoring Experience:

In the last four years, I have gained valuable experience tutoring mathematics to different age groups. As a result, I have earned an increased understanding of mathematic concepts as I have taught to the individual and unique needs of each student.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach is to assess each student's learning style, as well as their strengths and weaknesses, to further tailor each session around the student's needs. In addition, establish a comforting environment with every student to encourage them to ask questions and be more confident in their abilities.
