Personal Description:

As a former director of a writing center and a current academic enthusiast, I love tutoring and helping students succeed. My expertise is in science and English, but I enjoy tutoring many different subjects and working with students of different skill levels. My tutoring style can be adapted to different learning styles, but I always strive for success and growth whether I am working as a chemistry tutor or teaching another subject.

Tutoring Experience:

I was the director of the writing center at my high school where I worked with students to improve their writing and English skills. I tutored students in English, math, and science in college, where I also wrote for the student magazine. I am currently studying Environmental Geoscience.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe in encouraging critical thinking through carefully guided questions and suggestions. I like to adapt my tutoring style to each individual student, but I also believe in focusing on the essentials of every subject. I also like to have an assignment or study guide to lead the way during my tutoring sessions.
