Personal Description:

Hi there! I am a second-year student at UBC studying sociology! I am fluent in both English and Japanese. I grew up in Richmond, BC and attended Japanese school for most of my life!

I have completed two senior levelled Japanese courses at UBC in my first year :)

Tutoring Experience:

I have been tutoring for 4 years now. I have tutored kids from ages 4-18 in English, Math, Social Studies, and Japanese. I also have two years of experience volunteering as a Japanese teacher.

Tutoring Approach:

In the first class, I will assess the level of Japanese or English in which my client is. My class will focus on having fun while learning the language through games, activities, worksheets, chatting, etc. I am very flexible with my teaching style and can adjust to my client's personality and level very easily.
