Personal Description:
I have been a teacher for fifteen years and have worked and tutored in many settings. My most wonderful experience comes from working at an international school in the Bahamas.
Tutoring Experience:
I have taught from kindergarten to IB 2 (grade 13) and have run after school tutoring programs.
Tutoring Approach:
I follow the Orton-Gillingham approach which is a phonemic awareness-based program. It was designed for people with dyslexia but is effective for many types of language impairments and works well with struggling readers and writers.
