Personal Description:

Studying in university to be a teacher; skilled and experienced tutor in all subjects; fluent in English (first language) and French (French immersion for 6 years, lived in both France and Quebec); a friendly person who works well with children of all ages and loves to teach :) Top student in all subject areas throughout middle school, high school and university (94% academic average, 4.0 GPA).

Tutoring Experience:

I have lots of experience teaching a variety of ages in a variety of subject areas. I've taught full classes in science at summer camps, I've taught small classes in elementary/junior high math and English at Eye Level Learning Centre, and I've tutored individuals in elementary math, Math-10, Math-20 (-1 and -2), Math-30 (-1 and -2), Science 10, Science 20, Chemistry 20, and Chemistry 30.

Tutoring Approach:

Lessons held at public libraries; price varies by location (Judith Umbach is closest to me) to accommodate cost of transportation. Usually, my students bring their own material (homework, textbooks, etc.) and we work through them together during sessions, but I am open to preparing material as well.
