Personal Description:

I am an Ontario Certified Teacher, currently on maternity leave, with two kids of my own. Looking to take on only a few students at this time, specifically in Grades 3-6 (grades that I have previously taught).

Tutoring Experience:

I’ve been a full time elementary teacher at Durham District School Board for over six years. I’ve taught grades 3-6 and am well-versed in the curriculum. I have a degree in Child Psychology as well as a Bachelor of Education.

Tutoring Approach:

I take a student-centred approach. I create my own materials for tailored lessons that are specific to each child’s needs. I have experience working with students on IEPs, with learning disabilities, and attention difficulties.
