Personal Description:

I figure out where my students stand academically and then build upon their current skills. I am a physics tutor with more than two years of in-class teaching experience. I like getting to know my students and learning their goals. I can help with physics at all levels, from high school through college.

Tutoring Experience:

As an undergraduate, I earned my bachelor's degree in chemistry. In my experience, I have found it best to help students vocalize their thought process in approaching certain problems. From physics coursework to test prep, we can work through any problem you have relating to the subject.

Tutoring Approach:

I make the material we are working on relate to the student so that they can see its practical uses outside of the classroom. This way, physics isn't an abstract set of rules that have no bearing on the student's life. I develop lesson plans based on the student's goals and their existing knowledge of the subject.
