Personal Description:
Being a Spanish tutor is about more than just grammar and conjugation, it is also about helping you understand the culture within which the language is situated, how Spanish-speaking countries are a blend of colors, and how to hear the passion in the sound of the language being spoken. I see the student-tutor relationship as a partnership working towards learning goals and academic success.
Tutoring Experience:
I have a postgraduate degree in Marketing Management. I am able to help students supplement both their individual and classroom studies, whether they would like to work on their conversational skills in Spanish or focus on more advanced topics. If you want to expand your Spanish vocabulary, or need to improve your speaking and listening skills, I can help.
Tutoring Approach:
I think that the relationship with my students should be based on honesty, trust, and support so that they are always comfortable in the learning environment and can build their confidence in their language learning abilities. I primarily view myself as a learning facilitator rather than an expert merely presenting information to students. When planning a curriculum or teaching students I always factor in their diverse learning styles and welcome feedback and the opportunity for growth.
