Personal Description:

I have always been one of the top pupils in math class from a very early age. My teachers would always have to give me harder math problems as I would finish the assigned homework quickly and correctly in class. I have participated in many Waterloo math contests through school and have always place in the top 75%. I have placed in the top 2 at my high school for many math contests and have even advanced to the Halton Math Contest for high school students.

Tutoring Experience:

In school, the teacher would ask me to go around and help my peers who were struggling with the math concepts, as I had already finished the assigned homework.

Tutoring Approach:

Reading the questions. Asking if the student understand what they need to do. If the student has not done the question, create a similar one with different numbers and do together. Then let them do the assigned question by themselves. Try and offer strategies that worked for me and provide different ways to solving the problems.
