My name is Emilia , and I'm thrilled to share a bit about myself with you. I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a primary focus on working with children on the autism spectrum. With a master's degree in Education and BCBA certification, I am dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of children and their families.

In addition to my work as a BCBA, I am the founder of The Beautiful Mind Academy, a tutoring academy aimed at providing high-quality educational support to learners of all ages. Education is my passion, and I am committed to empowering students to reach their full potential.

I bring over seven years of experience to my work in the field of behavior analysis and education. Throughout my career, I have witnessed the transformative power of education and behavior analysis, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of others.

Tutoring Approach:

To kickstart this personalized journey, I conduct a complimentary assessment that identifies specific areas requiring improvement. During this process, I engage in meaningful conversations with parents to understand any specific goals they or their children may have.

Once the initial assessment is complete, I meticulously craft customized programs and provide corresponding worksheets. My methodology involves setting targets within these programs, ensuring a comprehensive approach to skill development. I only progress to the next target when both my assessment and the student's performance indicate readiness for advancement.

In alignment with educational standards, my programs follow the Canadian Curriculum. For high school and university students, I synchronize my approach with that of their respective teachers, fostering continuity in their academic journey.

Collaboration is key, and I actively involve parents and teachers in the educational process if students or parents agree to this system. By working hand in hand with them, I ensure that each student receives the tailored support they deserve. My commitment is to empower students with the tools they need to succeed, and I take pride in facilitating an educational experience that is not only effective but also enriching.
