Personal Description:
With almost 20 years of experience, I know that each student is unique in terms of their learning style, needs, and challenges so I always try to make sure that my methods and the pace of learning are suited to them. As a biology tutor, I can offer extra academic support and guidance to students in a wide range of subjects from anatomy and physiology to AP Biology and life sciences.
Tutoring Experience:
I have obtained two degrees: a bachelor's degree specializing in Life Science and a Ph.D. specializing in Chiropractic. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Anatomy Instruction and also have a license for secondary science education. I worked in a number of different roles in the education context from teaching at community colleges to working as a graduate teaching assistant.
Tutoring Approach:
I take a facilitative approach in the classroom, focusing on facilitating learning and guiding my students through the learning process. I also encourage active participation in my tutoring sessions and engage with students to ensure they are on the right track.
