Personal Description:

I'm a medical student who offers English tutoring. I am well-versed in tests like the SAT and PSAT. I can help students review the concepts they will be tested on, as well as prepare for the writing portions of these exams. Further, I can help them build stronger skills in reading comprehension, using informational texts, and more.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Mathematics. I'm currently pursuing my master's in Medicine. I have experience teaching and tutoring in several subjects, including as a teaching assistant. I have achieved excellent scores on both the SAT and MCAT.

Tutoring Approach:

I base my instruction around the student's level of comprehension. I speak with my students to get an understanding of where they are and the topics in which they could use guidance to create a plan of attack. I then use custom-tailored assignments to encourage self-discipline and independent learning.
