Personal Description:

Hi there, my name is Eli and I have been tutoring since 2019. I am graduating next April from Vancouver Island University with an Honours degree in English because I love all things English! My passion for the language, literature, and grammar is a part of who I am and I love sharing it with others.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been tutoring since 2019 in a 1-1 capacity. I have worked with the ages of 7 all the way up to 18 at all different levels of understanding. I specialize in tutoring kids who have learning disadvantages and have had a lot of success in helping kids to learn how to read and write as well as in applying to high level universities!

Tutoring Approach:

All the tutoring I do is online and I prefer to meet at least two times a week. We will begin by discussing what our goals are for the tutoring experience, and I will develop an outlined plan on how to reach said goals. Goals are often modified and adapted as we progress through our journey together. I will provide a low stress and comfortable learning environment where I teach, read, and help the student in whatever way is necessary.
