Personal Description:

I've always been passionate about learning. My teaching philosophy is centered around the belief that everyone has the ability to learn anything if they have an instructor who is willing to teach them in a way that is compatible with their learning style. I discovered this when a teacher went the extra mile to help me discover how I could learn math and I hope to provide the same experience in my capacity as a French tutor.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degree in history and my graduate degree in law. I've worked with students of all ages and linguistic levels, including elementary school students to adults making the transition from a career back to higher education.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to take the time to get to know my student's learning goals, interests, and learning style so I can customize my instructional approach. I like to begin slowly with foundational concepts and increase the difficulty of the work as their confidence increases.
