Personal Description:

I am currently a PhD student in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (Physical Therapy Stream) at Western University, London, ON, Canada. I have previously completed a Masters of Research in Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Roehampton, London, UK, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Minor in Psychology, at the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada. My passions include science, travel, and sport. My research has been published in various internationally recognized academic journals and presented at various academic conferences.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been a Teaching Assistant and Student Mentor for many years. As a teaching assistant, I have assisted with courses in the Faculty of Health Science. I have also engaged in peer-to-peer mentorship assisting with transitioning to university, academic writing, and presenting.

Tutoring Approach:

I have an individualized approach to tutoring, recognizing that everyone may be at varying levels of knowledge and learn at different paces and in different ways. I work hard with my students to develop goals, and a realistic plan to achieve those goals. As a researcher, I believe in cultivating knowledge and providing a pathway to obtaining knowledge without simply providing answers.
