Personal Description:

I can help students with a wide variety of biology topics. I love learning and sharing that love with students as a biology tutor. I can help with topics that include life science, genetics, and plant biology. I can be a biology tutor for students as young as kindergarten and as old as college-aged.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with a focus in Zoology. I have over ten years of experience teaching in environments ranging from K-12 classrooms to a college setting, to zoos. I have over three years of experience as an educator and keeper at a major zoo. I have over four years of experience as a coordinator for STEM outreach programs.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe any topic can be interesting, and my goal is to find ways to teach a subject that engage a student's mind. I work to make a learning plan that accommodates a student's strengths and weaknesses to create effective sessions.
