Personal Description:

I can help students develop their skills and knowledge in a supportive, one-on-one environment. As a physics tutor, I can help students make sense of both basic and high-level concepts. I work as a physics tutor because I know that working with another person can make learning so much easier than working alone. I can help students prepare for standardized tests like the AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism and the AP Physics C: Mechanics exams.

Tutoring Experience:

I am currently working toward my undergraduate degree in physics as well as math and computer science. I have done research on cosmic ray acceleration with the Department of Astrophysics, and I have also done work with the Engineering Department.

Tutoring Approach:

I want to point students in the right direction and be available to help them if they need me. I encourage asking questions and incorporate many elements of the Socratic method into my instruction.
