Personal Description:

I completely understand the need for academic advisement and instruction in both traditional and nontraditional education environments. I have experienced both settings first-hand. I have also experienced the comfort of being able to connect with students and help them succeed. I am a biology tutor with a plethora of experience working with students studying all levels of biology.

Tutoring Experience:

I hold a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in education. I am currently working as a teacher. I have been nominated for and received a prestigious teaching award. I have previous tutoring and teaching experience in the subjects of biology, science, earth science, and more.

Tutoring Approach:

I really believe that positive energy is key to having a successful learning environment. I encourage my students to maintain positive attitudes and leave any negativity at the door. I also believe in modeling the skills that I am trying to teach my students.
