Personal Description:

I have had a passion for learning and communication since childhood, and every subject I took was more enjoyable than the last. This was a problem as an undergraduate because I had to choose a major. I eventually realized that French was the only subject I had studied since the age of 14 and decided to turn what I thought was a lifelong hobby into a career as a French tutor.

Tutoring Experience:

I graduated with a BA in French Language and Culture with a minor in Anthropology. I also participated in freshman acclimation programs as a high school and college student to help students prepare for the next phase of their schooling, giving me practical experience working with students.

Tutoring Approach:

Learning a foreign language can be hard for students, so I make sure to establish a learning environment where students understand that it's okay to make mistakes as part of the learning process.
