Personal Description:

Students of all ages and academic levels can benefit from working with a study skills and essay writing tutor because these two things are necessary to successfully navigate all courses. I've tutored students of all ages in a variety of subject areas, including all types of history, geography, all levels of algebra, literature, and writing.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned both my undergraduate degree in mathematics and history and my graduate degree in history. I am currently remotely pursuing a Ph.D. in European history. I'm passionate about both mathematics and history and hope to eventually teach at the college level.

Tutoring Approach:

It's important to break down a difficult topic and relate the individual components to something a student relates to and enjoys. In doing so it creates a positive correlation between the subject matter and a preferred activity which can make it easier for the student to connect with the material and learn it.
