Personal Description:
I am a native, English speaking Canadian who will be licensed to practice Law in Ontario in June 2022. I graduated from Queens University Faculty of Law, having written the LSAT, taken and passed the BAR, and fulfilled my Articling requirement under a licensed principal at the law firm Walkerhead Law.
In association with my obtaining my license to practice law I have also obtained over four years of diverse legal experience including employment in private practice, working for the Ministry of the Attorney General Crown Prosecutions Office, and work in various legal clinics.
Tutoring Experience:
I possess over 5 years of experience tutoring students online via various teaching mediums.
My experience in tutoring has included preparing pre-law students in constructing their applications to law school, studying for the LSAT and the BAR, as well as reviewing various areas of law to ascertain students interest in the Law field or in gaining a greater understanding of a particular legal specialty.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring is individual focused. Through the first collaborative session I will identify what it is the student is interested in achieving and then take steps to create a personalized education plan tailored to their particular goals.
Lessons are structured to focus on one area of study at a time, however, should a student require additional time or assistance with a particular subject, my lesson plan offers enough flexibility to dedicate additional time to that area.
