Personal Description:

I am an economics tutor for high school and college students. This includes honors courses such as AP Macroeconomics and IB Economics. I additionally offer test prep services for standardized exams with sections related to the field such as the GRE, SAT, and ACT.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degree in international political economy and my graduate degree in public policy. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in international development and foreign policy.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe students learn best when they want to learn. It is my job to facilitate and maintain a connection with the student to encourage academic curiosity and engagement. It is always my goal to discover my student's learning style as well as their academic strengths and weaknesses in order to tailor my instructional methods to meet their educational needs. Once a student is engaged and feels confident with the material, I like to have them explain the concepts to me to verify their understanding.
