Personal Description:

I am a chemistry teacher at a local junior college, which makes me an excellent chemistry tutor because I know what the instructor is looking for. I can tutor students in chemistry in either English or Spanish. My experience in chemistry tutoring includes working with college and high school students as well as athletes.

Tutoring Experience:

I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. I then went on to graduate school where I earned my Ph.D. in Chemistry. I have been a chemistry tutor since I first began college. I can tutor students in general chemistry, analytical chemistry, and more chemistry topics.

Tutoring Approach:

My goal as a chemistry tutor is to facilitate each student's learning process. I make sure my students get as many tools as they need to thoroughly understand chemistry. I'm a dynamic and somewhat progressive tutor, though I do also believe in using classic teaching methods. I continuously make connections between chemistry and my student's everyday life.
