Personal Description:

I am a motivated, dedicated biology tutor who is driven to improve the knowledge and skills of all my students. I have used data to target and remediate students who were underperforming and helped them advance through their course benchmarks. I can tutor high school and college students in biology and life sciences.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology and went on to earn my master's degree in General Biology. I have more than three years of experience as a biology tutor and have also helped students prepare for state exams and the Science section of the ACT.

Tutoring Approach:

The goal I strive to achieve as a biology tutor is to enable my students to reach a point where they believe they can help themselves succeed when faced with any challenge. I start by getting to know my student, defining their goals, assessing their strengths and weaknesses, and designing a plan to achieve their goals.
