Personal Description:

A professional chemistry tutor, I focus on showing students how to study and retain information more effectively. Helping students understand and appreciate STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) subjects can broaden their career potential. I explore scientific theories and conduct interactive experiments to help build knowledge, intellectual skills, and readiness for future classes.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Biology. I completed both with high honors. Working as a tutor during my undergraduate years, I've helped high school, community college, and baccalaureate students reach for their academic goals.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe learning new subjects requires challenging what you know and improving comprehension of things you don't fully understand. Tutoring is your time to LEARN, SUCCEED, and ADVANCE. The willingness to excel is the key to becoming an independent learner. I also connect new topics with real world subjects; when a student is anxious or doubtful, I am calm and encourage them to move on from their mistake with continued practice.
