Personal Description:

I am available as a music tutor to work with students in various music subjects including Singing and Songwriting. I also play the cello and can help students work on their skills in that area. I have many years of experience tutoring students in a wide variety of topics including Music.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree Magna Laude in English and Theater, with a minor in History. I went on to earn my master's degree in Modern European History with a focus on the World Wars and the Holocaust and a minor concentration on Public History and Gender & Sexuality.

Tutoring Approach:

I think patience and attention to detail are two essential skills for a music tutor to have. I like to start by finding out where my student is at in their music education and building from the fundamentals. I help my students create their own learning plan based on where they are beginning and where they want to get to.
